Finish Well, Finish Strong

This summer, I pose a challenge for you. We’re about to embark upon the latter half of the year and I want you to take a moment to reflect and examine yourself. Where are you right now on the journey that God called you to travel? How are your obedience, faith, and love being manifested through your daily life? Have you done what the Lord has said so far?

That’s just a snippet of questions you can ask yourself as you take personal inventory. The beauty of it is this isn’t limited to spiritual matters but everything about your life. God wants you whole and healthy—spirit, soul, and body—and you have a significant part to play in that.

Guess what? If while doing your self-evaluation you find that you are falling short of something, you are not condemned. Repent and ask Holy Spirit to help you redeem the time and receive His grace to finish well and finish strong.

“You were running [the race] well; who has interfered and prevented you from obeying the truth?”

Galatians 5:7, AMP

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us  run with patience the race that is set before us,”

Hebrews 12:1, KJV

Get in the Word and humble yourself to the Lord’s leading and direction so He can show you how to make the most of your time and use your gifts to the best of your ability while infused with His power.
